Kitchen Corner: Making Pizza

 

Today's Kitchen Corner: Making Pizza with a Few of Trader Joe's Great Ingredients: Lavash Armenian/Persian Style Bread, Tomato Paste, Port Wine, Parmesan Cheese, Mozzarella, Pepperoni, Olive Oil, and Red Chile Pepper 



Coating the underside of the lavash with olive oil makes a very flaky crust (there are a couple of big flakes in this photo).  I coat the top with my home-made pizza sauce (tomato paste, Porto, oregano and Lawry's seasoning) and bake it for a few minutes before laying-on the mozzarella and pepperoni slices.
